Egyptian President Says Terrorists Are Americans

TEHRAN- As U.S. threats to attack Afghanistan increase, the Egyptian President has warned the U.S. not to accuse Arabs and Muslims before conclusive evidence is found.

Hosni Mubarak, in an interview with CNN, condemned the recent attacks on the U.S. He also said that the incidents bore no resemblance to past terrorist actions, and that it is quite likely that the terrorists are Americans.

He added that the precision of the assaults indicates the pilots' obvious knowledge of the area, and previous experiences of flying those routes.

The president of Egypt also said that these terrorist actions have been extremely professional and that as a pilot who has piloted a variety of aircraft, he knows that it would be impossible to carry out such precise attacks with only a Florida pilot's license.

He added that the American defense building was located very low and a pilot who was unfamiliar with the area could not have carried out such an act, so the pilot must have traveled the route several times in order to know where to strike.

In the meantime, political analysts say that it is a common tactic of the Western media to accuse Arabs and Muslims whenever an incident occurs, as was the case after the Oklahoma City bombing, in which Muslims and Arabs were accused in the beginning until it became clear that an American was responsible for the attack.
